For undergraduate technical programmes, the permitted 2026 pattern summary gives an English-language CBT with 200 MCQs in three hours. For M.Tech, it lists 120 MCQs in two hours. Wrong answers lose 0.25 mark, consistent with the indexed official 2026 prospectus. Do not use older summaries that say there is no negative marking. Programme-specific section weights and the MBA group should be checked separately.
Use the pattern for the specific programme and year when practising. A subject list does not establish marks, penalties or a time limit unless those are separately stated.
