A stable sleep schedule supports recall, attention and emotional control. Avoid replacing several nights of sleep with last-minute study. Fix a realistic daily start and finish time, include short breaks and preserve time for meals and movement. A plan that can be followed for several weeks is more useful than an extreme schedule abandoned after three days.
