Counselling and seat allotment

JNU CEE M.Tech counselling should be followed through the authority’s official process. Register separately if required, pay the displayed counselling fee, upload readable documents, complete verification, enter choices in genuine preference order and lock them before the deadline. Download the locked list and every allotment letter.

Before accepting a seat, confirm the programme, institution or campus, category, fee, deadline, reporting mode and upgrade rules. Understand whether an action means freeze, float, slide, willingness, retain or withdraw in that specific process; labels are authority specific. Never assume that paying one fee automatically completes admission.

At reporting, carry the originals and copies listed in the allotment letter. Keep an acknowledgement for any original submitted temporarily. Read the refund and withdrawal rules before payment, especially while waiting for another result. After completing the process, verify that the portal shows the intended status.
