Counselling, options and seat allotment

Counselling must be followed through the official process for MAHE M.E./M.Tech programmes listed in the 2026 admission catalogue for which MET PG and the selected discipline are applicable. Complete any separate registration, document verification, fee payment, option entry and locking before the displayed deadline. Download the option list and every allotment letter.

Enter choices in genuine preference order unless the authority expressly instructs a different method. Before accepting a seat, confirm branch, campus, category, fee, reporting mode and upgrade rule. Terms such as freeze, float, choice, willingness, retain or surrender are authority-specific; read the current definition rather than assuming it matches another counselling system.

Carry the originals and copies listed in the allotment letter. Obtain an acknowledgement if an original is retained. Read refund and withdrawal conditions before payment, especially when waiting for another result. Admission is complete only when every required payment, verification and reporting action is reflected in the official record.
