Cloud Computing Entrance Exams

There is no single entrance examination for all Cloud Computing degrees. The relevant exam depends on the university and degree.

JEE Main

JEE Main is accepted by some BTech institutions and state counselling systems. Candidates must verify whether the cloud specialisation appears in the current seat matrix.

State CETs

MHT CET, KCET, WBJEE, AP EAPCET and TG EAPCET can be relevant for colleges offering CSE specialisations. Availability varies annually.

CUET UG

CUET UG may be used for BCA, BSc or selected university programmes. Subject combinations differ.

University tests

Universities may use CUCET, VITEEE, SRMJEEE, MET, MRNAT or their own test. Candidates should verify the organising university, examination purpose and accepted programme because similarly abbreviated tests can belong to separate admission systems.

Merit and interview

Some private universities use Class 12 marks and personal interviews. Candidates must still meet Mathematics and subject eligibility.

GATE

GATE Computer Science is relevant to many MTech computing programmes. Some specialised Cloud Computing courses use institutional tests instead.

NIMCET

NIMCET is used for MCA admission at participating NITs. It does not specifically guarantee a Cloud Computing specialisation.

CUET PG

CUET PG is used by participating universities for postgraduate programmes. Applicants should check the paper and programme combination.

Certification exams

Vendor certification exams are professional assessments, not college entrance tests. Passing one does not create admission eligibility for BTech or MTech.

Preparation strategy

BTech candidates focus on PCM and the relevant entrance syllabus. BCA applicants prepare according to aptitude, Mathematics, English or computing sections. MTech candidates strengthen Computer Science fundamentals.

Counselling

After results, candidates complete the relevant counselling or university process. They should check the exact degree title and campus before accepting a seat.
