Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering fees vary by institution and should not be estimated from Marine Engineering programmes at IMU Kolkata, HIMT, MANET or Tolani. IMU currently lists both BTech and MTech Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering; applicants must use the relevant campus and programme fee notice. Figures from differently titled maritime degrees are not comparable.

Marine programmes often have compulsory residential, uniform, workshop, medical, safety-training and examination costs.
