Naval Architecture fees vary by institution and should not be estimated from Marine Engineering programmes at IMU Kolkata, HIMT, MANET or Tolani. IMU currently lists BTech Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering and BTech Naval Architecture and Ship Building; applicants must use the relevant campus and programme fee notice. Figures from differently titled maritime degrees are not comparable.

Marine programmes often have compulsory residential, uniform, workshop, medical, safety-training and examination costs. Candidates should obtain a year-wise official fee sheet and ask whether sea-training, statutory courses, travel, passport and competency-related expenses are included.
