Application form, fee and correction process

Use the category-wise examination fee in the official 2026 information brochure and portal. Fees for a second attempt, CAP registration where applicable, seat acceptance and the allotted institute must be kept distinct.

The safe sequence is to enter through the authority's official admissions page, create an account with a private email and active mobile number, verify contact details, complete personal and academic fields, choose the correct paper/programme, upload readable files, review the declaration, pay through the displayed gateway and download the completed form and receipt. Keep the application number outside the email inbox as well.

Use a recent recognisable photograph and a normal signature. Uploads should display all borders, seals and relevant text. A bank debit alone does not prove successful submission; the application portal should show a successful status. If payment fails, record the time and reference, check the portal before paying again and contact the official helpdesk when necessary.

Correction facilities are limited to the fields and dates specified by the authority. Applicants should not submit a knowingly incorrect form on the assumption that every field can later be edited. Login credentials and one-time passwords should not be shared with agents. No legitimate person can guarantee a rank, branch or seat outside the published process.

Documents and application audit

Prepare the Class 10 certificate, qualifying-examination records, photograph, signature, identity proof, submitted application and payment receipt. Add category, income, residence, disability, study, transfer, migration, conduct, diploma, degree or equivalence documents only where applicable. Keep original scans, compressed upload copies and print-ready copies in separate folders.

Create an index showing the document name, issuing authority, date, expiry date and the stage where it is required. This prevents an outdated certificate from being reused during counselling. If a certificate is delayed, seek written official guidance before the deadline rather than uploading a substituted or altered record.
