Leather Technology Entrance Exams

JEE Main

JEE Main is the principal route for HBTU under current admission conditions. Candidates should verify marks, counselling and branch code.

WBJEE

WBJEE is used for GCELT Kolkata B.Tech admission. JELET applies to lateral entry under the state's current rules.

TNEA

TNEA is a merit-based counselling process rather than a separate examination. It is relevant to Anna University undergraduate admission, including the Alagappa College route, subject to current rules.

Bihar counselling

MIT Muzaffarpur follows the admission process prescribed by the Bihar authority. Candidates should verify current examinations and counselling because arrangements can change.

JEECUP and polytechnic routes

JEECUP is used for Leather Technology diploma admission in participating Uttar Pradesh polytechnics. Other states use their own board counselling or merit.

GATE and PG tests

GATE, TANCET/CEETA or another state or university process may be used for M.Tech. Accepted papers and qualifying degrees are institution-specific.

Preparation strategy

UG candidates should follow the current Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics syllabus and solve timed previous questions. Chemistry deserves strong attention for the course itself.

Diploma candidates should prepare Mathematics and Science according to the official polytechnic pattern. PG candidates should study the syllabus of their accepted paper and revise leather-processing fundamentals.
