Published exact-course listings range widely. KCG College of Technology, Chennai and Chennai Institute of Technology have appeared near ₹2.20 lakh under one fee category, KIIT near ₹14.75 lakh, MIT Manipal near ₹19.04 lakh and Mahindra University near ₹20 lakh. Fees vary by seat category and may exclude hostel or other charges.

Candidates must match the fee to the current course title, campus, intake and admission category. Automation programmes also require laboratories, drives, controllers, sensors and robotics equipment; meaningful student access is more important than a long equipment list.
