Reading 2026 session information correctly

The official selection page records an entrance session on 7 May 2026 from 7 pm to 8:30 pm Indian Standard Time, with login from 6:30 pm. It also records multiple shifts on 6 April. These are session details, not a single universal appointment for every B.Tech applicant. The candidate's own admit card determines the relevant allocation.

The page contains historical session blocks and later-round links. Reading the first visible date without checking the session heading can produce a wrong schedule. The presence of a December 2025 session on a 2026 admission page is also not necessarily a contradiction: an admission cycle can begin before the academic year in its title.

Official documents differ slightly in their generic admit-card lead time: the pattern sheet says one to two days, while the selection page and Kengeri process sheet say two to three days. The practical instruction is to monitor the application portal in the days before the event and follow any session-specific notice. Do not rely on a guaranteed single release interval.

The university distinguishes schedule updates from access links. Its process sheet directs candidates to check the portal for date and time updates, while the selection page says mock and actual test links are also sent to the registered email and included in the admit card. Saying that no email is ever sent would therefore be inaccurate.
