Applying and paying for the correct route

The official CUCET registration charge is ₹1,000, including the digital prospectus. Applicants register, select their qualification and programme, complete the required details and follow the test-booking process. Save the submitted programme choice, because it helps establish which paper combination was assigned.

If an offline application form has already been purchased, the official process uses its unique number in online registration rather than requiring the same ₹1,000 to be paid again. The paper-purchase method does not change the examination into an offline test.

The FAQ permits two attempts per phase and states a ₹500 charge for a subsequent attempt or phase, with the best score considered for scholarship purposes. Available dates and final programme conditions still apply. A retake plan should leave time for the admission decision rather than treating attempts as unlimited.

Review the module before the appointment. An applicant who expects the interdisciplinary combination but is assigned the core combination needs clarification before testing. Preparing the wrong fifty-question component is a substantial problem that cannot be repaired merely by reading the general CUCET instructions.
