Examination-day execution

Read the admit card for the assigned paper, session, reporting instructions, identity requirements and centre details. The four examination dates do not mean a candidate can choose any date at the venue. A two-paper candidate must follow the separate appointments associated with the approved papers.

Before starting, establish how responses are saved and how the palette represents answered, unanswered and review states. A response that was mentally selected but not stored by the interface is not equivalent to a submitted answer. During practice, learn the actual navigation behaviour instead of relying on the appearance of a highlighted option alone.

If a technical problem occurs, inform the invigilator through the prescribed process. Do not attempt to repair the workstation independently or continue silently if responses are not being recorded. The candidate's role is to report the issue clearly; the examination staff determine the authorised remedy.

During the final review, check answer-entry errors before reopening difficult derivations. A missing negative sign, decimal error or accidentally selected option may be faster to correct than an unresolved advanced problem. Review priorities should depend on identifiable risks in the responses already entered, not simply on which question feels most frustrating.
