September 2026 status and dated information

The review date is 25 September 2026. GITAM's general admissions FAQ describes a rolling 2026 testing period from January to May, but a complete official postgraduate phase calendar was not recovered. A live enquiry or application page should not be presented as evidence of a current September M.Tech test, an available specialisation or an open seat.

A prospective late applicant should seek a response naming the programme, campus, entry route and the action still available. A generic message inviting applications may refer to several levels or courses. It does not establish that the desired postgraduate engineering programme is accepting new candidates on the date of the enquiry.

Some official promotional pages remain accessible with eligibility text referring to GAT Engineering PG 2025. Their current web presence does not update the year inside that text. This guide does not use those older entries as proof of a 2026 deadline, a current specialisation count or a current examination exemption.

For candidates already holding an offer, the relevant dates are the offer's acceptance, payment, verification and reporting deadlines. Those dates can differ from the examination calendar. For candidates preparing for another admission year, the learning guidance here can be useful, but the later year's official conditions must be obtained separately.
