Applying through the official account

Begin through the university's official admission route and use contact details that the applicant can access throughout the process. The registered email and phone number connect application updates, test information and admission communications. Depending entirely on another person's inbox can make time-sensitive instructions harder to track.

Enter personal details as they appear in the accepted identity and school records. Select the intended level, campus and programme carefully. A postgraduate or lateral-entry selection is not interchangeable with regular first-year B.Tech. Before payment, review the application summary rather than assuming the correct option remained selected after navigating between screens.

Prepare readable academic documents and the photograph or other files requested by the live form. Use the portal's actual size and format instructions. File specifications copied from an older admission article may no longer match the current upload system. Check the uploaded preview where available, because a successfully uploaded file can still be blurred or incomplete.

The official reference application page lists ₹1,200 for undergraduate engineering. That page also contains inconsistent material elsewhere, so the amount should be checked against the actual selected programme's checkout before payment. Preserve the receipt and the submitted application. The application charge is separate from later tuition, accommodation and seat-related payments.

Correcting an application and handling payment problems

If an error is discovered, identify the field, the submitted value and the correct value supported by a document. A precise request is easier to resolve than a general message saying that the form is wrong. Use the official account or admissions support route and include the application identifier without sharing login credentials.

Some details may not be editable directly after registration. The official reference FAQ indicates restrictions on changing the registered email and describes a support route for other corrections. Because the live account determines available actions, do not create duplicate applications merely to work around a locked field unless the university explicitly instructs that approach.

For a payment debit without a successful application status, retain the transaction reference and timestamp. Check whether the portal records the payment before attempting another transaction. A bank debit, gateway acknowledgement and completed application status are related but not identical records, and duplicate payment can create an avoidable refund issue.

An application-fee refund and a tuition-fee withdrawal refund are different matters. The admissions FAQ describes the application fee as non-refundable. Later admission payments require their own applicable cancellation policy. Do not assume that a statement about one payment category controls every other payment made to the university.
