Carpet and Textile Technology Eligibility

Eligibility for BTech Carpet and Textile Technology is determined by the institution and the applicable counselling rules. Candidates should verify the current official brochure because subject combinations, marks and admission routes can change.

Class 12 qualification

Applicants generally need to pass Class 12 or an equivalent examination from a recognised board. Physics and Mathematics are commonly required, with Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology accepted as an additional prescribed subject under the relevant rules.

PCB eligibility for Carpet and Textile Technology

Physics and Mathematics are generally central to the regular BTech eligibility. A PCB student without Mathematics should not assume eligibility merely because Biology may appear among accepted optional subjects. The current institute and examination rules are final.

PCM eligibility for Carpet and Textile Technology

PCM students generally fit the expected engineering subject pattern, subject to minimum marks and JEE Main requirements. They should still review the official admission notice.
