Carpet and Textile Technology Entrance Exams

JEE Main is the principal entrance examination for regular BTech admission to IICT Bhadohi. Seat allocation follows the applicable counselling process for the admission year.

JEE Main

JEE Main evaluates Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics for the BTech paper under the current examination pattern. Candidates should use the official syllabus, notices and information bulletin.

JoSAA counselling

JoSAA coordinates seat allocation for participating institutions. Candidates register after results, fill choices, respond to allotments and complete verification. Participation rules and institute inclusion should be confirmed for 2026.

CSAB special rounds

CSAB may conduct special rounds for vacant seats after regular allocation. Cutoffs can move considerably in special rounds. Candidates should understand fees, withdrawal and reporting conditions before participating.

UPTAC or other notified counselling

Some seats or vacancy processes may be connected with a state counselling route according to current institutional policy. Applicants should follow IICT's official notice rather than assuming a particular route.

Lateral-entry entrance route

Lateral admission may use a separate state, university or institutional process. Diploma holders must check the current notice because JEE Main procedures for first-year admission may not apply.

Preparation strategy

Students should build strong Class 11 and 12 concepts, practise previous questions and take timed mock tests. They should analyse errors instead of repeatedly solving only familiar topics.

Cutoff interpretation

Opening and closing ranks vary by round, category and quota. Recent ranks can guide choice planning but cannot predict an exact 2026 outcome. Candidates should include preferred options and realistic alternatives.
