Undergraduate engineering programmes confirmed for 2026–27

The university’s AICTE Extension of Approval dated 3 April 2026 confirms the following undergraduate programmes and approved intake for 2026–27.

Approved intake does not guarantee that every seat is available through one route or round. The current prospectus and allotment communication determine the seats actually offered.

Comparing the programmes

Candidates should compare curriculum, laboratories, faculty, internships, accreditation, branch-specific placement evidence, total cost and personal interest. A modern programme title or advertised highest salary should not be the sole basis for selection.

Computer Science and Engineering normally provides a broad foundation in programming, algorithms, computer systems, networks and software. AI and Machine Learning or AI and Data Science adds focused work in statistics, data and intelligent systems. IoT and Cyber Security combines connected systems with networks and security. Students should inspect the actual curriculum because related titles may still differ substantially.

Biomedical Instrumentation combines electronics, measurement and healthcare applications. It is an engineering programme, not a medical degree. ECE covers circuits, devices, signals, communication and embedded systems. Civil Engineering covers structures, construction, surveying, geotechnical, transport, water and environmental work.

Food Technology applies science and engineering to processing, preservation, safety, quality and production. Printing and Packaging Technology can cover print processes, colour, materials, digital workflows, packaging, quality and plant operations. Facilities and industry exposure matter greatly in these applied programmes.

Total cost and financial planning

The entrance application fee is not the course fee. Total cost may include tuition, examination charges, one-time fees, hostel, mess, transport, books, devices and project materials. Candidates should calculate the full programme cost using the current official fee table.

The official site provides scholarship information, while the AICTE approval mentions schemes such as Pragati, Saksham and Swanath. Each scheme has separate eligibility and renewal conditions. Students must not assume automatic entitlement. Education loans should be evaluated using total borrowing, interest, moratorium and realistic repayment capacity.
