Admit card
The university made admit cards available online on 16 June 2026 for all undergraduate programmes other than Nursing and B.Ed. U21 candidates downloaded and printed the document by logging into the admission portal with their user ID and password. No hard copy was sent to candidates.
The admit card carried the candidate’s name, photograph, signature, address and category, along with the examination-centre name and address. It also communicated the applicable date and schedule. Candidates were instructed to inspect the details and immediately report discrepancies to the AUAT office.
How candidates downloaded the admit card
- Open the official AUAT 2026 page.
- Follow the undergraduate admit-card or admission-portal link.
- Log in using the registered user ID and password.
- Open the admit-card section.
- Download the PDF and check all details.
- Print a clear copy and preserve an additional copy if possible.
If login credentials were forgotten, candidates had to use the portal’s recovery mechanism. The university’s registration note told previous applicants to use their earlier credentials where applicable and use “Forgot Password” instead of creating duplicate registrations.
Details to check on the admit card
- candidate’s name and spelling;
- photograph and signature;
- category;
- address;
- programme or paper information;
- examination date and reporting schedule;
- centre name and complete address; and
- instructions on permitted and prohibited items.
The centre printed on the admit card overrode a candidate’s assumptions based on the preference chosen in the form. Candidates were advised to locate the venue in advance and plan transport with a safety margin.
Examination-day guidance
Candidates needed to carry the printed admit card and any identification or other item demanded by the official instructions. They should have reached the centre according to the reporting time, not merely by the paper’s starting time. A blue or black ballpoint pen was essential because the brochure prescribed those colours for the machine-gradable response sheet.
Electronic devices, written material or other prohibited objects should not be carried. Candidates should follow invigilator instructions, verify that the booklet and response sheet were usable, and fill identification fields carefully. Any booklet defect needed to be raised before substantial time was lost.
During the test, question selection mattered. Candidates could first secure answers they knew, mark difficult questions for reconsideration in the booklet if allowed, and protect the final minutes for ORS review. They should never create stray marks or fill an answer against the wrong question number.
