Admit card and the examination day

Check the hall ticket's subject schedule, reporting instructions and centre address. The published examination window contains more than one date, so the relevant paper timings matter more than a general headline. A candidate registered for a particular combination should identify every required session and the interval between them. Travel arrangements should allow for the complete day rather than only the first paper.

In an OMR examination, question numbering and response transfer are part of performance. After skipping a problem, confirm that the next answer is marked against the correct number. Avoid accumulating all responses until the final minute. During practice, test a transfer method that keeps the sheet current without interrupting concentration after every tiny step. The method should minimise actual errors, not merely feel fast.

Follow the permitted-item and writing-instrument instructions printed for the examination. Do not import calculator or rough-paper rules from another test. If the booklet is defective or a printed question is unclear, notify the invigilator through the authorised process. Discussing the question with another candidate is not an appropriate way to resolve a printing problem.

Between subject sessions, focus on practical recovery: the next reporting requirement, permitted food or water arrangements and materials needed. A prolonged argument about the previous paper can consume attention without changing submitted answers. If reviewing a formula helps, keep it limited and within the rules of the waiting area. The next session requires a fresh allocation of attention and time.
