Application fees and a completed submission

The 2026 application notice distinguishes examination or counselling fee amounts by subject group and category. It lists ₹1,000 and ₹500 fee bands for the stated three-subject groups and ₹1,100 and ₹550 for PCMB. The applicant must use the applicable category row in the notice and the amount displayed by the correct application portal. These are not annual college tuition figures and should not be described as the cost of completing an engineering degree.

The online process includes registration, selection of the course group, personal and contact information, educational details, image uploads, preview, final submission and payment. The order is meaningful: a registration number establishes an account, while the confirmation page records a completed submission. Save both the confirmation and the payment receipt. A bank debit without a completed application record may require resolution through the official support process.

The photograph and signature should meet the specifications shown for the 2026 form, including any required identifying detail on the photograph. Do not reuse an image merely because it was accepted by another examination portal. Check that the uploaded copy is readable at normal size and belongs to the correct applicant. A small file can be technically uploadable while still being unsuitable for identity verification.

Preview the selected subject group carefully. A candidate can enter personal details perfectly and still register for a group that does not support the intended course. Compare the group with the programme eligibility before final submission. If a correction is needed, use the Board's permitted editing facility and retain the revised confirmation. The existence of an editing day does not mean that every field can necessarily be changed.

For an unresolved transaction, collect the application reference, transaction identifier, payment time and status displayed by the portal. Explain whether the account shows unpaid, incomplete or another specific message. Repeatedly submitting payments without checking their association with the application can leave several transactions unresolved. Support staff need the traceable payment information, not the applicant's password or one-time password.
