What is verified about the direct-entry paper
The official entrance-examination page specifies a three-hour multiple-choice B.Tech direct-entry paper carrying 125 marks. Its subject syllabus covers Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English. The total marks should not be silently converted into 125 questions unless an authoritative question-count rule establishes that equivalence.

This distinction prevents a common error: importing a familiar one-mark-per-question pattern from another examination.
