Online registration process

The official 2026 registration page asked applicants to choose the programme, indicate whether they were applying for lateral entry, select branch preferences, provide personal and parent details, enter address and nationality, and fill in school academic information. It also collected contact details used for admission communication.

A careful online process would have followed these steps:

1. Open the 2026 IcfaiTech registration page from the official IFHE domain.
2. Select B.Tech and answer the lateral-entry question correctly.
3. Choose branch preferences in genuine order of interest.
4. Enter the student’s full name and date of birth exactly as shown on academic records.
5. Provide an active mobile number and email address.
6. Enter parent or guardian name, email and alternate contact details.
7. Complete the postal address, city, state, pin code and nationality fields.
8. Add school, board, year of passing or appearing, marks and medium of study.
9. Upload the requested photograph and documents in the prescribed format.
10. Review every field before accepting the declaration.
11. Pay the application amount through the available authorised method.
12. Save the submitted form, application number and payment receipt.

The form showed preference fields because allocation could depend on the order selected by the student. A candidate interested primarily in Computer Science and Engineering should not casually place another branch first. Preference order should reflect what the student would actually accept, after considering curriculum, career interests and fees.

Application fee

secondary education sources report an ATIT 2026 application fee of ₹750. Candidates could pay online through the methods enabled on the portal. the secondary exam guide also described an offline/download method in which the completed form and a demand draft were sent to the Admissions Office.

The application fee is not the same as the admission fee, caution deposit, semester fee or hostel charge. Paying ₹750 only completed the application transaction. Selected students later had separate programme-fee obligations. Applicants should have used only the university’s official portal or the demand-draft beneficiary stated in the applicable form.

For an offline application, the secondary exam guide reported that the demand draft was to be drawn in favour of “IFHE – Prospectus Fee A/c ATIT 2026” and sent with the form to the ATIT Admissions Office at Plot No. 65, Nagarjuna Hills, Punjagutta, Hyderabad – 500082. Because beneficiary wording is financially sensitive, future-cycle candidates must verify it on the fresh official prospectus rather than reusing the 2026 wording.

Documents and information to keep ready

Candidates typically needed:

• a recent passport-size photograph in the specified file format and size;
• Class 10 certificate for name and date-of-birth proof;
• Class 10 marks sheet;
• Class 12 marks sheet, if the result was available;
• Class 12 appearing details if the result was pending;
• diploma certificates and marks sheets for lateral entry;
• valid mobile number and personal email address;
• parent or guardian contact details;
• address and pin code;
• payment facility for the application fee;
• category or identity documents if specifically requested;
• a copy of the submitted application and transaction record.

Applicants should not upload blurred screenshots, cropped certificates or altered images. A mismatch between the form and original documents can delay verification. The email should belong to the applicant or a closely involved parent, not a coaching centre or cyber-café operator.

Common application mistakes

The most serious mistakes were selecting the wrong programme, incorrectly claiming lateral-entry status, reversing branch preferences, entering a wrong email address, and treating a pending result as passed. Smaller spelling differences can also create trouble if the university cannot match the application with board records.

Applicants should have checked the payment status after completing the transaction. A bank debit alone did not prove that the application was successfully submitted. The portal confirmation, application number and receipt were stronger evidence. If payment was deducted but the portal showed failure, the candidate should have contacted ATIT admissions with the transaction reference instead of immediately making repeated payments.

Correction and communication

The reviewed sources do not establish a broad public correction window comparable to national examinations. Therefore, students should not assume that every field could be edited later. An error should have been reported promptly to the admissions office through the contact details on the official page.

Useful details in an error email included the applicant’s name, application number, registered mobile number, incorrect entry, correct entry and supporting certificate. Sensitive documents should only be shared with an authorised institutional address. Candidates also needed to preserve the sent email and reply.

Other programmes on the application

The official 2026 registration page also covered BCA (2026–29) and B.Sc (2026–29). Their eligibility and test structure were not identical to B.Tech. For example, the official B.Sc page states 50% aggregate with Mathematics and Physics as compulsory subjects. A B.Tech applicant must not apply the B.Sc threshold to engineering admission.

This guide retains its focus on B.Tech. Separate programme pages should be created for BCA and B.Sc so that different eligibility rules and question structures are not mixed.

Campus identity

ICFAI Tech School is part of IFHE in Hyderabad. The university campus address published by IFHE is at Donthanapally, Shankarpalli Road, Hyderabad – 501203, Telangana. The ATIT admissions office/contact address used in application communication was Plot No. 65, Nagarjuna Hills, Punjagutta, Hyderabad – 500082.

These two addresses serve different practical purposes. Applicants should use the address stated for the task: correspondence may go to the admissions office, while admitted students report to the university campus according to joining instructions. Sending documents to the wrong address can cause delay.

ATIT and other entrance routes

the secondary exam guide describes IcfaiTech Hyderabad undergraduate admission as entrance and merit based, with ATIT serving as the institution’s admission test. the secondary education source’s post-cycle update also mentions registrations for merit-based admission using Class 12 or other examinations such as JEE/EAMCET. Because routes and availability can change, an applicant should not assume exemption from ATIT without an official confirmation for the exact programme and year.

Students with JEE Main or state-test scores should enter them only when the application requests them and should upload genuine score documents. Holding another score does not waive Class 12 eligibility.
