B.Tech programmes shown for 2026

The official IcfaiTech Hyderabad B.Tech page listed the following four-year programmes:

  • B.Tech in Cloud Computing;
  • B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering;
  • B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Data Science);
  • B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning);
  • B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence);
  • B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (Cyber Security);
  • B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (Internet of Things and Cyber Security including Blockchain Technology);
  • B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering;
  • B.Tech in Electronics Engineering (VLSI Design and Technology);
  • B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.

Programme names can change between cycles. Students should compare the exact title printed on the admission offer with the official curriculum. Closely related computer branches still have different required courses and career emphasis.

How to choose a branch

Computer Science and Engineering provides a broad computing base. AI, machine learning and data-science programmes place greater emphasis on algorithms, statistics, data and intelligent systems. Cyber-security programmes focus more on secure computing, networks and threat analysis. IoT and blockchain-linked study combines connected devices, computing and security themes.

Electronics and Communication Engineering suits students interested in circuits, communication, embedded systems and signal processing. VLSI-oriented electronics moves more directly toward semiconductor design and chip-related study. Mechanical Engineering covers design, manufacturing, thermal systems and mechanics.

A candidate should not choose solely from current popularity. The decision should consider syllabus, comfort with mathematics and programming, laboratory interests, potential higher study and the breadth of roles desired. Marketing labels should be checked against the semester-wise curriculum.
