Admit card, access instructions and remote readiness

The 2026 process is described as remotely proctored, with an online admit card or assessment access instruction. Check the applicant's name, application reference, assessment date and the identity documents required. Retain the access document after the test because it links the assessment to the applicant's admission record. If the date or identity information differs from the application, seek clarification before attempting to begin the assessment.

A useful technical rehearsal uses the same device, connection and location intended for the test. Follow any university-provided compatibility check, camera or microphone test and browser instructions. This is more informative than confirming that an unrelated video website works. The test platform may require permissions or software behaviour that an ordinary browsing session does not exercise. Complete such checks early enough to resolve a problem without changing devices during the login window.

Arrange a quiet space with the materials expressly allowed in the instructions. Tell household members when the assessment is scheduled so that avoidable interruptions are reduced. Do not assume that a phone, calculator, additional screen or handwritten notes are permitted merely because the examination is taken at home. Remote delivery changes where the student sits; it does not turn the assessment into an open-book exercise.

If a connection or platform problem occurs, follow the displayed recovery process and contact the designated support channel. Note the time and error message if doing so is permitted. Repeatedly launching new sessions or switching devices without guidance can make it harder to establish what happened. Likewise, do not assume that a technical interruption automatically grants another attempt; the university must decide the appropriate resolution for the reported incident.
