The dedicated university AUSAT page invites students currently studying in Class 12 or an equivalent educational level to apply for its scholarships. Scholarship tables then specify school-mark conditions for particular awards. These statements answer different questions: being able to take an assessment does not mean that a particular fee waiver has already been earned. Students who have already completed school should obtain confirmation for their intake instead of assuming that every category described by older summaries remains unchanged.

For an engineering example, the university's Mechanical Engineering page lists 10+2 with at least 50% in Physics and Mathematics plus one of Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology or a technical vocational subject, and a five-percentage-point relaxation for SC/ST applicants. These are the programme conditions displayed when checked, not a universal AUSAT pass mark. Applicants should verify their own chosen branch, qualification and intake against its programme rule.

School marks must be interpreted using the specified subjects and calculation. A best-five aggregate, an overall percentage and a required-subject aggregate can produce different numbers. Suppose a student's strongest marks are in subjects outside the engineering requirement. Those marks may improve an overall school percentage without curing a shortfall in the required group. Work from the programme wording and the actual marks statement rather than choosing whichever calculation produces the highest result.

An equivalent qualification can require additional clarification. If the school board uses grades, credits or a different subject naming system, collect its authorised conversion or equivalence information. Do not invent a percentage from a grade merely because an online form expects a number. A precise enquiry can show the qualification, subjects and grading method and ask the university what evidence it requires for assessment.
