Completing the application accurately

The AUSAT application is submitted online. Prepare the applicant's contact details, school information and a suitable photograph before starting. Use an email account and mobile number that the applicant can continue to access through the selection process. An account created through a helper should still remain accessible to the student; otherwise, a test invitation or scholarship query may arrive where the applicant cannot act on it promptly.

Enter academic information from the record in front of you. Where a result is pending, use the option provided for that situation rather than entering an expected percentage as a declared result. Distinguish the year in which an examination is being taken from the year the result document was downloaded. Small administrative errors can become important when the scholarship committee compares the application with the supporting marksheets.

The 2026 application summary inspected reports an AUSAT fee of ₹200. Treat the amount displayed in the correct application flow as the transaction reference before paying. It must not be confused with a programme application fee, admission registration charge or tuition instalment. For example, the engineering programme page checked separately lists a ₹1,000 application fee; that is not evidence that the AUSAT test fee and engineering application fee are the same charge.

Before submission, read the preview as someone checking the applicant's identity and qualification would read it. Verify names, school details, results, programme preference and contact information. If an error is found after submission, ask the university for the appropriate correction route. Do not assume that creating another account is harmless, particularly when the AUSAT page restricts attempts. A duplicate registration may create a second problem without correcting the first record.

Keep the completed application and payment reference together. If payment is debited but the application remains incomplete, record both the bank transaction and the portal status. The useful support request identifies the application number, transaction reference and what the portal currently shows. It should not include passwords or one-time passwords. A payment receipt proves a transaction; it does not by itself prove that every application field was successfully submitted.
