Dates, phases and the admission year
A single national examination date is not an appropriate way to describe the phase-based AUSAT process. Applicants receive arrangements associated with their registration or phase. The relevant dates are therefore the application deadline for that phase, assigned assessment date, any subsequent interview appointment and the deadlines attached to an offer. These should be recorded as separate events, because completing one does not automatically complete the others.

No complete, dated official calendar establishing every 2026 phase was available in the sources inspected for this revision. It would therefore be misleading to manufacture a monthly schedule or carry forward a previous year's dates. This also means the table should not be read as a claim that all stages are currently open. An applicant with a 2026 account should use that account's communication to establish the status of an existing application.
For a remote assessment, also confirm the time zone and login instructions. A message that gives a test start time may require identity checks before that time. Build the candidate's schedule around the complete instruction, including any preparation or verification period. If the test clashes with a board examination or another commitment, raise the issue before the appointment; the existence of other phases does not itself guarantee a permitted reschedule.
