Registration, test codes and application fees

The 2026 prospectus lists an application fee of ₹1,500 for up to two test codes for general applicants and ₹700 for Kerala SC/ST applicants. Each additional test code costs ₹500 or ₹250 respectively under the stated categories. Special routes or categories can have additional provisions, so this is the basic listed structure rather than a universal quotation for every applicant.

Test codes are not the same thing as branch preferences. One entrance test can support consideration for multiple eligible programmes, while some courses require a different test. A regular engineering applicant should first identify the required code and then understand when branch options are collected. Paying for an unnecessary additional test does not improve a rank in the relevant paper.

Check the form's personal information, qualifying records, category claims, photograph and signature before payment. Save the completed application and receipt. If a later notice identifies a defective photograph or signature, the candidate must complete the specified remedy; an application number alone does not prove that all uploaded records have been accepted for the examination.
