Mathematics priorities from the paper structure

With 90 questions, Mathematics has the largest numerical share of Test Code 101. Preparation should develop fluency across the required school-level material rather than concentrating exclusively on a few difficult problems. Algebraic manipulation, functions, trigonometry and coordinate interpretation often support later calculus and vector work.

Build short practice sets around a specific skill, such as identifying domains, simplifying a rational expression or interpreting a derivative. Then mix those skills into unfamiliar questions. A student who can solve a chapter exercise immediately after reading the method may still struggle when the examination does not announce which method is relevant.

Keep a record of the first incorrect step in a solution. If the error occurs while translating the question into an equation, doing more arithmetic drills will not fix it. If the method is correct but fractions repeatedly cause trouble, the repair is different. The large Mathematics share rewards this precise diagnosis because small recurring weaknesses can affect many items.
