AMUEEE 2026 application form

The AMUEEE 2026 application was online. Registration opened on February 1 and the normal window ended on February 28. AMU allowed submission from March 1 to March 7 with the notified late fee. the secondary exam guide reported a B.Tech application fee of ₹1,000 during the regular period and ₹1,300 during the late period, comprising the regular fee plus ₹300 late fee.

Application fee

The fee should be checked on the official payment screen before submission, especially when a candidate applies for more than one programme. A combined B.Tech/B.Arch choice or another course can have a different fee. Bank or payment-gateway charges may also be shown separately.

Steps followed for the online application

Create an account: The candidate registered with a working email address and mobile number. These details were important for account recovery and admission communication. One candidate should maintain one consistent account unless the official help desk instructs otherwise.

Complete personal details: The form required the candidate's name, date of birth, gender, nationality, parent information, address and other identity details. Spellings should match the Class 10 certificate. Initials and expanded names should not be mixed across documents without a valid basis.

Enter academic information: Candidates entered the board, school, passing year, roll number, subjects and marks or appearing status. The information should be copied from the certificate rather than entered from memory.

Choose programme and test centre: The candidate selected B.Tech and gave the available test-centre preferences. A preference is a request, not a guarantee. The admit card confirms the allotted centre.

Upload images and documents: The application required a recent photograph, signature and left thumb impression in the prescribed digital format. the secondary exam guide reported the photograph as JPG/JPEG below 40 KB and the signature and thumb impression within 20–100 KB. The live portal's instructions remained controlling.

Pay the fee: Payment could be made through the enabled online options. A successful bank debit alone does not always mean the form has been submitted. The candidate needed to return to the portal, confirm the payment status and download the completed form.

Final submission: After reviewing every field, the candidate submitted the form and saved the confirmation page. The application number, login credentials, payment receipt and PDF were useful through result and counselling.

Documents candidates prepared

• recent passport-style photograph;
• signature scan;
• left thumb impression;
• Class 10 certificate for identity and date of birth;
• Class 12 marksheet, or appearing-candidate proof;
• applicable diploma documents;
• category or special-category certificate;
• valid photo identity document;
• active email address and mobile number; and
• payment instrument.

Application correction

AMU provided an online correction opportunity after the application stage. A correction window is not permission to submit careless data. Some fields may be locked, and a programme or identity change may not be allowed. Candidates should download the corrected confirmation page and make sure that the photograph, signature and chosen programme display properly.

Application mistakes to avoid

Duplicate accounts, an inaccessible email address, an unclear face photograph, signature in the photograph field, wrong qualifying status, an incorrect subject combination, unsupported category claims and failure to press final submit are serious mistakes. Another common error is paying near the deadline and closing the browser before the transaction returns to the AMU portal. Candidates should confirm a successful status and contact the official help desk with the application number and transaction reference when a payment remains pending.
