Application fee and completing the form

The 2026 application notice specifies an examination and counselling fee of ₹2,200. Payment is part of completing the application, but a debit message alone is not the same as a completed form. The useful evidence is the portal's accepted payment status and the final application record. If a transaction is debited but remains unresolved, preserve its reference and follow the published support process instead of repeatedly starting new applications.

The official notice describes online payment channels. Older explanations of a bank challan or an earlier year's procedure should not be carried into a 2026 instruction simply because they appear on a general examination page. Payment options can change between cycles. Enter the application through the Board's authorised route, confirm the examination title and then use the methods actually offered for that application.

Identity details should be consistent across the application, qualifying records and the document used at the examination. Check the spelling of the candidate's name, date of birth and parent details before moving to later stages. A typing error in a contact number can also matter because the applicant may miss an important message. The contact details should remain accessible through counselling, rather than belonging to a temporary service provider who completed the form.

Qualification entries deserve a separate review. Identify whether the application is based on a diploma, B.Sc. or the relevant vocational award. Enter the examining authority and marks in the requested format, not in the format that happens to be easiest to type. If the form distinguishes aggregate marks from a percentage, do not repeat the percentage in both fields. Compare each entry with the actual record before final submission.

Upload a clear, correctly oriented copy of each requested image or document using the live size and format limits. A readable document is preferable to an aggressively compressed scan that hides a registration number or a seal. Do not copy image dimensions from an old preparation article when the current form gives different specifications. Save the submitted application and payment acknowledgement in a folder that can be accessed during later verification.
