The revised application calendar

The original 2026 application notice opened registration on 9 April. Subsequent extensions changed the closing arrangements. The 12 May extension is especially important because it used different times for registration and payment. Registration closed on 13 May at 10:00 p.m.; the payment window continued until 11:59 p.m. on that date. Saying that both activities remained available until midnight would give an applicant the wrong deadline.

The table distinguishes notice dates from the dates of the activities announced within them. A notice published on 29 August does not mean that every mop-up action took place that day. Likewise, a scheduled admit-card release is not evidence that every individual applicant's document was successfully issued. Candidate-specific status belongs in the portal record and any subsequent Board communication.

The July engineering process also received an extension notice. Applicants comparing an early timetable with a later portal screen should establish which notice superseded the earlier deadline. Preserve the revised instructions rather than combining dates from several versions into a new unofficial calendar. For a future cycle, the lesson is procedural: the latest applicable amendment controls the changed activity, while unaffected provisions continue to come from the original notice.
