Turning the official syllabus into a study map

The university publishes a detailed B.Tech CET syllabus covering school-level Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. Use that document to identify the actual scope rather than assume that a revised question distribution removes topics from one subject. The preparation sections below explain representative concepts and common errors. They are original teaching material, not official past questions or a prediction of chapter-wise weightage.

Create a topic map with three levels: independently solvable, understood but slow, and not yet understood. The first group needs periodic revision, the second needs timed practice and the third needs explanation followed by simple applications. This classification produces a more useful plan than marking a chapter complete because a video or textbook section has been watched or read.

Mathematics has forty percent of the questions, while Physics and Chemistry each have thirty percent. Time allocation during preparation should consider those weights and the candidate's diagnostic performance. A weak Chemistry foundation cannot be ignored simply because the applicant prefers Mathematics. The maximum possible gain in each section is limited by its question count, so a balanced improvement plan matters.
