OMR practice and examination-day control

An offline paper requires accurate transfer of answers to the response sheet. Practise using numbered rows and a consistent filling routine. The goal is to avoid shifting every answer by one row after skipping a question. A candidate who knows the subject can still lose marks through an answer-location error.

Do not leave the entire response sheet until the last few minutes. Equally, do not adopt a rigid filling rule without practising it first. Some candidates work effectively in small verified batches; others prefer marking each completed answer. Choose a method that makes skipped questions visible and allows the question number to be checked each time.

Read the booklet's instructions about the selected discipline, permitted writing instrument and response marking before beginning. If printing or page order appears defective, bring it to the invigilator's attention promptly. Do not spend valuable examination time silently reconstructing a damaged page or guessing which section was intended.

Travel planning should use the actual hall-ticket address, not just the city named during registration. Campuses and centres may have multiple entrances. A route checked in advance, an adequate arrival margin and the required identification reduce avoidable disruption. These practical steps support the subject preparation; they cannot be repaired by a higher level of technical knowledge after the gate closes.
