Confirmed dates and the meaning of the calendar

The official entrance website gives 16 March 2026 as the start of online registration and 10 May 2026 as the CEETA PG examination date. The published examination session was 10 am to noon. These dates belong to CEETA PG; the adjacent TANCET schedule used 9 May. Selecting the correct programme row avoids a particularly easy one-day error.

The reviewed 2026 application coverage records an extension of the application deadline from 10 April to 15 April. The original deadline should therefore not remain as the only closing date in a historical application summary. An extension also does not mean every later stage moved by the same number of days. Hall-ticket, examination and counselling dates need their own evidence.

The merit-list date concerns admission processing, rather than the date on which every candidate first obtained an entrance result. Applicants should keep separate records for the scorecard, admission merit list and allotment. These documents answer different questions: how the candidate performed, where the candidate stands in a relevant admission list, and which programme has actually been offered.

Later admission rounds can have separate categories and deadlines. A page showing an allotment in late June or early July should not be treated as a universal schedule for all applicants. Identify whether the notice concerns the ordinary CEETA category, a special category, a conversion round or a particular institution before acting on it.
