City information, admit card and accommodations

An examination-city intimation informs a candidate about the allotted city; it is not the same document as the admit card giving the final appointment and centre details. NTA issued several 2026 notices about city allocation, admit cards and rescheduling. The latest applicable document controls the candidate's actual appointment, particularly where a test was moved after the first download.

Candidates should inspect the subject, date, shift, reporting instructions, identification requirement and centre address. Two papers selected in one application do not necessarily imply one continuous session at one centre. Planning travel from an assumed schedule can therefore create avoidable conflicts. The admit-card instructions should guide the actual arrangements.

PwD and PwBD candidates should use the applicable accommodation process for scribe details, supporting certificates and compensatory time. The national notices include specific steps for these arrangements. Do not assume that declaring a disability in the form completes every later accommodation requirement. Equally, access needs should be addressed through the authorised mechanism rather than improvised on examination morning.
