AEEE 2026 result, percentile and rank

After each phase, performance was shown as a percentile. The final AEEE rank was published after both phases. For a candidate who appeared in both, the best percentile was considered for assigning the final rank.

A percentile is a relative measure and is not the percentage of marks obtained. It indicates performance in relation to other candidates under the adopted normalisation method. A score of 80% marks and an 80 percentile are not interchangeable. Candidates should report the figure exactly as labelled in the portal.

How to check the result

1. Visit the official admission portal.
2. Log in using the registered credentials.
3. Open the AEEE score, percentile or rank link.
4. Check candidate details and displayed performance.
5. Save the result page or scorecard.
6. Read the CSAP communication sent after rank declaration.

If a candidate used JEE Main, the correct 2026 percentile had to be supplied within Amrita's window. Editing or fabricating a score is a serious violation and is verifiable from official records.

Rank interpretation

A rank does not correspond to one permanent campus or branch. It becomes meaningful only alongside the student's preference list, admission route, eligibility, scholarship slab, demand and vacancies. Computer Science-related choices at established campuses generally attract stronger competition, while demand can differ for specialised, core or newer-campus programmes.

Candidates should avoid assuming that a historical online closing rank is a promise. Amrita explicitly says it does not have a fixed cutoff system for AEEE or JEE. Seat allocation changes with the number of applicants, their scores and preferences. A student should therefore enter every genuinely acceptable option in correct preference order rather than self-rejecting on the basis of an unofficial prediction.
