From the provisional key to the final score

The provisional answer key allows candidates to compare their responses with the proposed answers, subject to the authority's objection process. A self-calculated score is provisional because a key can change and invalid questions may receive special treatment. Use the final result for admission entries rather than a score estimated before objections were decided.

When raising an objection, identify the exact paper set, question number and disputed answer. A question remembered from a discussion may differ from the printed question. Show the reasoning with the given conditions and units. An objection supported by a clear calculation or a precise concept is more useful than a general claim that several students selected another option.

If an objection fee or a prescribed upload format applies, completing those requirements is part of submission. Keep the acknowledgement that identifies the objection, not only a bank transaction. This makes it possible to establish what was actually sent if there is a later query about the process.

The result and the counselling merit list are not necessarily the same document. The examination result records performance in CG PET. A counselling list applies the admission process to registered applicants and their relevant information. A student should check both records for accuracy rather than assuming that a correct exam result guarantees a correct counselling entry.
