Using the official practice facility

The 2026 portal links a practice test. Its main value is familiarity with the supported interface and question presentation. It does not establish that the live examination will repeat the same questions or that a small sample captures every possible topic. Treat familiarity as preparation for navigation, not as a substitute for subject knowledge.

During practice, learn how the interface indicates selected, unanswered and review states if those features are provided. Read the instructions for saving or changing a response. Do not assume that every computer-based examination uses identical buttons or that merely highlighting an option always completes the required action.

Simulate the test without unrelated interruptions. Afterward, record time spent on questions that were eventually left unresolved. Those minutes reveal where an earlier decision to move on could help. The aim is not maximum speed on every item, but an effective use of the full hour.

If a technical problem occurs in the actual centre, inform the authorised invigilator promptly. Follow the centre's procedure rather than attempting unauthorised changes to the computer. The candidate should be able to describe the issue clearly, including whether it concerns display, input or a response status.
