Why the entry level changes the study plan

A Class 10 applicant should build from school science and the published diploma distribution. A post-diploma applicant should refresh the relevant mathematical and scientific foundations of the qualifying programme. A science graduate should recognise the larger Chemistry share in PGD-PPT. Using the correct starting level prevents both unnecessary advanced study and inadequate basic revision.

Begin with a short diagnostic in the subjects assigned to your programme. Record whether each wrong answer arose from missing knowledge, a calculation error, misreading or time pressure. These causes require different repairs. Relearning an entire chapter is inefficient when the recurring problem is actually unit conversion.

Allocate practice time using both the official question distribution and your own gaps. The diploma paper's large General Knowledge allocation deserves regular attention, but neglecting Science can still cost many questions. For PGD-PPT, the larger Chemistry component justifies substantial practice without abandoning the other three listed subjects.
