Reading a provisional offer

A provisional offer should identify the programme, centre and actions required to accept it. Read those fields before celebrating the result as a completed admission. A candidate may still need to establish the qualifying result, submit certificates, pay the specified amount and report within the given period.

Check whether the offer contains conditions that remain unresolved. An appearing candidate, for example, may need to provide final academic evidence by a stated deadline. The existence of an offer does not remove the programme's entry qualification. If a document is delayed, obtain the centre's written direction instead of assuming an extension.

Retain the offer in a form that can be read later, together with its issue date and deadline. A cropped screenshot can omit a condition or the programme name. When asking a genuine question, quote the relevant part of the offer and provide the application reference through the official channel.

Do not send money merely because an unsolicited message claims that a seat will disappear immediately. Match the request to the official offer and authorised payment process. The important point is to establish which admission obligation the payment fulfils, so that the candidate can document acceptance correctly.
