Application fees and what they cover

The COMEDK-only examination application fee was ₹1,950. The combined COMEDK and Uni-GAUGE option was ₹3,200. Applicable transaction or internet-handling charges are additional. Read the payment screen for the actual charge associated with the selected payment method.

The official fee explanation refers to GST on the convenience or handling charge where applicable. That should not be rewritten as a blanket extra tax on the entire examination fee. Fee summaries must preserve which amount a percentage or tax applies to, because otherwise even a correct base fee produces an incorrect payable total.

The entrance application fee is separate from the counselling registration payment and from the institutional fee after allotment. Paying one does not settle the others. A family budget should show each stage separately so that a comparatively small entrance charge is not mistaken for the cost of joining a college.

The published application fee is non-refundable under its stated terms. Review the intended examination option before paying. If the candidate needs both score routes, selecting only one and later assuming that the other is included can create an avoidable application problem.

Registration and corrections

Create the application with contact details that the applicant can access through the complete admission period. Enter the identity and academic information from genuine records, select the intended examination option and complete the required uploads. Save a copy of the submitted form and accepted payment status.

The correction facility covered selected fields. The official instructions excluded critical details such as the applicant's name, registered contact details and test city from the normal edit option. A correction window should therefore not be described as unrestricted permission to change every part of an application.

Before submission, review the fields whose errors would be difficult to repair. Compare the uploaded photograph with the specified conditions and inspect its clarity. A payment receipt cannot compensate for an unusable photograph or an incorrect identifier in the submitted application.

If a transaction is debited but the application does not show success, investigate using the transaction reference and the official process. A duplicate payment should not be the first response to an unclear screen. The objective is to establish which payment is linked to which application, not merely to accumulate bank confirmations.
