Participating colleges, programmes and decision checklist

The relevant institution scope is the IITs and any other institutes expressly participating through JEE Advanced and JoSAA 2026. A candidate should use the 2026 counselling seat matrix or official programme list rather than a generic web list. Confirm that the branch, campus, mode and entry year match the offer. Similar programme names may have different curricula or eligibility rules.

Evaluate a programme through its official curriculum, department facilities, faculty information, accreditation where applicable, internship system and recent branch-level placement disclosures. Separate university-wide marketing from evidence for the specific engineering programme. A single highest package does not describe typical outcomes. Look for batch, eligible students, students placed, median or typical pay and job roles.

Build a full budget including tuition, registration, examinations, hostel or local accommodation, mess, transport, books, device, project materials and travel. Treat a scholarship as confirmed only after receiving the applicable written award and conditions. Read renewal requirements and whether the benefit applies to tuition alone.
