What the official 2026 paper establishes

The released A-series booklet states that the examination contains 100 questions for 100 marks, to be answered in 90 minutes. Responses are recorded on an OMR sheet. Mathematics occupies 40 questions, followed by 30 in Physics and 30 in Chemistry. The paper uses multiple-choice questions with four alternatives. Candidates should use this released paper when checking the 2026 format rather than import the settings of a different engineering entrance examination.

The average available time is 54 seconds per question: 90 minutes divided by 100. That is a planning calculation, not an instruction to spend exactly 54 seconds on every item. Some questions can be answered directly, while others require several lines of working. A workable strategy allows quick questions to release time for longer ones, while preventing a single difficult calculation from consuming a disproportionate share of the examination.

The official booklet inspected contains English and Telugu question text. This is more precise than describing the released paper as English-only. Candidates using secondary summaries should notice that a general “language” field may not capture the actual booklet presentation. For preparation, read the version that allows accurate understanding, but learn the technical symbols and units so that a difference in phrasing does not disrupt the solution.
